Hydroxyurea side effect was reported by a Health Professional from on May 31, 2005. Female patient, weighting 125.2 lb, was diagnosed with anaplastic astrocytoma and was treated with Hydroxyurea. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: neutropenia, neutrophil count decreased. Hydroxyurea dosage: 500 MG PO BID. During the same period patient was treated with GLEEVEC, DILANTIN, TEGRETOL, RESTORIL, VALIUM, CALCIUM GLUCONATE. Patient recovered.
