Hydroxyurea side effect was reported by a Physician from SWITZERLAND on Sept 13, 2007. Male patient, 81 years of age, was diagnosed with myeloproliferative disorder and was treated with Hydroxyurea. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arthralgia, oedema peripheral, rash erythematous. Hydroxyurea dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ASPIRIN, ENATEC, TORSEMIDE, PANTOPRAZOLE, XATRAL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Hydroxyurea side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Sept 07, 2006. Male patient, 75 years of age, was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia and was treated with Hydroxyurea. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute myeloid leukaemia, arthralgia, asthenia, blood creatinine increased, cellulitis , chills, dehydration, fatigue, gastrointestinal haemorrhage. Hydroxyurea dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ALLOPURINOL, ATENOLOL, CLINDAMYCIN, ENALAPRIL MALEATE, FELODIPINE, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 08/19/2006.

Female patient, 57 years of age, weighting 180.8 lb, was diagnosed with accidental exposure and was treated with Hydroxyurea. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: accidental exposure, arthralgia, confusional state, cough, dizziness , dyspnoea, hallucination, headache , insomnia. Hydroxyurea dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ASCORBIC ACID. Patient recovered.
