Male patient, 66 years of age, was diagnosed with essential thrombocythaemia and was treated with Hydroxycarbamide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: chills, confusional state, hepatitis What is  hepatitis, pyrexia. Hydroxycarbamide dosage: 1000 MG DAILY. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 66 years of age, was diagnosed with essential thrombocythaemia and was treated with Hydroxycarbamide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: chills, confusional state, culture positive, granulomatous liver disease, incontinence, lethargy, pyrexia, renal failure acute. Hydroxycarbamide dosage: 1000 MG DAILY. During the same period patient was treated with ALLOPURINOL, VALPROATE. Patient recovered.
