Hydroxycarbamide side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from SAUDI ARABIA on Oct 20, 2008. Female patient, 25 years of age, was diagnosed with sickle cell anaemia, vascular occlusion and was treated with Hydroxycarbamide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acquired mitochondrial dna mutation, acute myeloid leukaemia, alanine aminotransferase increased, bronchopulmonary aspergillosis, cytogenetic abnormality, headache What is  headache, pulmonary haemorrhage. Hydroxycarbamide dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
