Hydromorphone side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Aug 16, 2006. Male patient, 83 years of age, weighting 160.9 lb, was diagnosed with procedural pain and was treated with Hydromorphone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac arrest , cardio-respiratory arrest, loss of consciousness, procedural complication, pupil fixed, respiratory rate decreased. Hydromorphone dosage: 2 MG IV. During the same period patient was treated with ALLOPURINOL, AMPICILLIN, EPOGEN, TOPROL, PLAVIX. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
