Male patient, 83 years of age, weighting 160.9 lb, was diagnosed with procedural pain and was treated with Hydromorphone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac arrest , cardio-respiratory arrest, loss of consciousness, procedural complication, pupil fixed, respiratory rate decreased. Hydromorphone dosage: 2 MG IV. During the same period patient was treated with ALLOPURINOL, AMPICILLIN, EPOGEN, TOPROL, PLAVIX. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
