Hydrocortisone side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Sept 18, 2007. Female patient, 20 years of age, was diagnosed with systemic lupus erythematosus, lupus nephritis and was treated with Hydrocortisone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bacteraemia, blood pressure increased, convulsion, gravitational oedema, hypertensive encephalopathy, reversible posterior leukoencephalopathy syndrome, weight increased. Hydrocortisone dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PREDNISONE, METHYLPREDNISOLONE, CELLCEPT. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
