Hydrea side effect was reported by a Physician from FRANCE on Sept 21, 2005. Female patient, 53 years of age, was diagnosed with polycythaemia vera, schizophrenia and was treated with Hydrea. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: constipation , intestinal infarction, leukopenia, neutropenia, thrombocytopenia, thrombophlebitis. Hydrea dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with HALDOL, ZYPREXA. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: diarrhoea infectious, neutropenia, pleural effusion, rash , renal failure acute, respiratory failure, thrombocytopenia. Hydrea dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ALLOPURINOL, GEMCITABINE, AMINOGLYCOSIDES. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute myeloid leukaemia, cardio-respiratory arrest, eosinophilia, nephritis interstitial, thrombocytopenia. Hydrea dosage: 500MG DAILY PO. During the same period patient was treated with VANCOMYCIN. Patient died on 06/26/2006.
