Hycamtin Side Effects Report #4638961-8
Hycamtin side effect was reported by a Physician from on Apr 11, 2005. Male patient, 80 years of age, was treated with Hycamtin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, back pain , blood chloride decreased, blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, blood potassium decreased, blood sodium decreased, c-reactive protein increased, chest pain , dyspnoea. Hycamtin dosage: 1.5MG PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with MEXILETINE HYDROCHLORIDE, HYDROCORTISONE SUCCINATE, BROMHEXINE HYDROCHLORIDE, GRANISETRON. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bone marrow failure, c-reactive protein increased, dermatitis allergic, escherichia urinary tract infection, febrile neutropenia, rash maculo-papular, urinary tract infection enterococcal. Hycamtin dosage: 2.49MG PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with ZOFRAN, CHLORIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Hycamtin dosage: 1.68MG PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with TRIAZOLAM, ISOSORBIDE DINITRATE, WARFARIN POTASSIUM, ASPIRIN, MAGNESIUM OXIDE, CLOTIAZEPAM, FAMOTIDINE. Patient died on 01/14/2003.
