Hurricaine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Mar 14, 2007. Female patient, 44 years of age, was diagnosed with local anaesthesia and was treated with Hurricaine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: methaemoglobinaemia, procedural complication, respiratory arrest. Hurricaine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with MEPERIDINE, MIDAZOLAM, DIPHENHYDRAMINE, ROMAZICON, NALOXONE, ATROPINE, CEFAZOLIN. Patient died on 01/19/2007.

Female patient, 75 years of age, weighting 230.0 lb, was diagnosed with echocardiogram and was treated with Hurricaine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cyanosis, loss of consciousness, methaemoglobinaemia, respiratory arrest. Hurricaine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with DEMEROL, VERSED. Patient recovered.
