Male patient, 67 years of age, weighting 158.7 lb, was diagnosed with aortic valve replacement, coronary artery surgery, factor viii deficiency and was treated with Helixate. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anti factor viii antibody positive, pericardial haemorrhage. Helixate dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with HELIXATE FS, HELIXATE FS, HELIXATE FS, HELIXATE FS, HELIXATE FS, KOGENATE. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.
