Male patient, 67 years of age, weighting 158.7 lb, was diagnosed with aortic valve replacement, arterial bypass operation, factor viii deficiency and was treated with Helixate. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anti factor viii antibody positive, cholecystitis acute, factor viii inhibition, pericardial haemorrhage. Helixate dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with HELIXATE FS, HELIXATE FS, HELIXATE FS, HELIXATE FS, HELIXATE FS, HELIXATE FS, KOGENATE FS, KOGENATE FS. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.
