Guaifenex side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Sept 30, 2005. Male patient, 63 years of age, weighting 189.6 lb, was diagnosed with arthritis
and was treated with Guaifenex. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac aneurysm, chest pain
, coronary artery disease
, diabetes mellitus non-insulin-dependent, epistaxis, gallbladder disorder, hypertriglyceridaemia, myocardial infarction, sinus bradycardia. Guaifenex dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with LIPITOR, METROGEL, NORVASC, NIASPAN, NADOLOL, NIACIN, VIOXX, ALLOPURINOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
