Guaifenesin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Feb 22, 2006. Male patient, 54 years of age, weighting 158.0 lb, was diagnosed with upper respiratory tract infection and was treated with Guaifenesin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dysphagia, local swelling, swelling face. Guaifenesin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with RHINOCORT, SYNTHROID, LIPITOR, NEXIUM, ALLEGRA, FOLIC ACID, TYLENOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
