Guaifenesin side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Dec 13, 2007. Female patient, 37 years of age, was diagnosed with completed suicide and was treated with Guaifenesin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood glucose decreased, blood ph decreased, coma, completed suicide, depressed level of consciousness, hyperkalaemia, hypotension, respiratory depression. Guaifenesin dosage: GUAIFENESIN 400 MG/ PHENYLEPHERINE 15 MG, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with VENLAFAXINE, ACETAMINOPHEN AND HYDROCODONE BITARTRATE, METFORMIN, DIAZEPAM, GLIPIZIDE, GABAPENTIN, RAMIPRIL. Patient died.
