Female patient, 82 years of age, was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus and was treated with Glyburide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: confusional state, diarrhoea, gastritis, hypoglycaemia, oral intake reduced, somnolence. Glyburide dosage: 5 MG BID PO. During the same period patient was treated with METFORMIN, SINTROM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Glyburide dosage: 2.5MG BID PO. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
