Male patient, 66 years of age, was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus and was treated with Glyburide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, blood creatine increased, blood urea increased, confusional state, decreased appetite, disorientation, hyperhidrosis, hypoglycaemia, insomnia. Glyburide dosage: 7.5 MG; BID;. During the same period patient was treated with DILTIAZEM, LOSARTAN POTASSIUM, CARVEDILOL, DIGOXIN, WARFARIN, FUROSEMIDE, LISINOPRIL, CALCITRIOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Glyburide dosage: 2.5 MG DAILY PO. During the same period patient was treated with ALBUTEROL SULPHATE, LASIX, GATIFLOXACIN, WARFARIN, ASPIRIN, BISACODYL, LISINOPRIL, METHOCARBAMOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
