Male patient, 81 years of age, was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus non-insulin-dependent and was treated with Glyburide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: convulsion, tremor. Glyburide dosage: 10MG QAM + 5MG QPM. During the same period patient was treated with DICYCLOMINE, GATIFLOXACIN, METOPROLOL, CARBIDOPA AND LEVODOPA. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agitation, belligerence, blood creatinine increased, blood glucose decreased, confusional state, convulsion, disorientation, hypoglycaemia. Glyburide dosage: 2.5 MG DAILY PO. During the same period patient was treated with ALBUTEROL SULPHATE, LASIX, GATIFLOXACIN, WARFARIN, ASPIRIN, BISACODYL, LISINOPRIL, METHOCARBAMOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Glyburide dosage: 2.5MG 1 TIMES PER DAY PO. Patient died on 02/27/2007.
