Female patient, 73 years of age, weighting 235.9 lb, was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus, urinary tract infection  and was treated with Glucotrol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acidosis, cardiac failure congestive, encephalopathy, hypoglycaemia, pleural effusion, renal failure acute. Glucotrol dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with SULFAMETHOXAZOLE AND TRIMETHOPRIM, METFORMIN, LISINOPRIL, SPIRONOLACTONE. Patient died on 02/22/2009.
