Glucosamine side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Oct 13, 2003. Female patient, 82 years of age, was diagnosed with osteoporosis  and was treated with Glucosamine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood calcium increased, calciphylaxis, early morning awakening, hyperlipidaemia, neoplasm, pain , pruritus. Glucosamine dosage: 12 MG, UNK. During the same period patient was treated with FORTEO, CALCIUM, VITAMIN D, PLAVIX, COZAAR, PROCRIT, NEUROTON. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
