Glucobay side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on Dec 19, 2005. Male patient, 80 years of age, weighting 154.3 lb, was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus non-insulin-dependent and was treated with Glucobay. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atrial fibrillation What is  atrial fibrillation, biliary tract infection, blood glucose increased, diabetes mellitus inadequate control, hepatic function abnormal, inflammation. Glucobay dosage: 300 MG, TOTAL DAILY, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with BASEN, COSPANON, GANATON, TAKEPRON, SENNOSIDE, AMARYL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aspartate aminotransferase increased, atrial fibrillation What is  atrial fibrillation, blood glucose increased, gamma-glutamyltransferase increased, glycosylated haemoglobin increased, hepatic function abnormal, inflammation. Glucobay dosage: 300 MG, TOTAL DAILY, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with AMARYL, BASEN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: activated partial thromboplastin time prolonged, blood potassium increased, cardiac murmur, coagulopathy, dehydration, inflammation, pneumatosis intestinalis, pneumonia What is  pneumonia, prothrombin time prolonged. Glucobay dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with WARFARIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
