Glucobay side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on Dec 21, 2005. Female patient, 92 years of age, was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus and was treated with Glucobay. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: glycosylated haemoglobin increased, hypoglycaemia, oral intake reduced. Glucobay dosage: 150 MG, TOTAL DAILY, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with DAONIL, ADALAT, HYPEN, SELBEX, LIPOVAS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with DAONIL, ADALAT, HYPEN, SELBEX, LIPOVAS BANYU. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Glucobay dosage: 300 MG, TOTAL DAILY, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with AMARYL, BASEN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: altered state of consciousness, dysarthria, glycosylated haemoglobin increased, hypoglycaemia, malaise, muscular weakness, nausea What is  nausea, oral intake reduced. Glucobay dosage: TOTAL DAILY DOSE: 50 MG UNIT DOSE: 50 MG. During the same period patient was treated with ASPIRIN, WARFARIN, PARAMIDIN, GLIMICRON, ITOROL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Glucobay dosage: 300 MG, TOTAL DAILY, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with GLIMEPIRIDE, PANIPENEM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
