Glucobay side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Jan 07, 2005. Female patient, 30 years of age, was diagnosed with obesity What is  obesity and was treated with Glucobay. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: depression What is  depression, diarrhoea, fatigue, feeling abnormal, hepatic failure, oedema, palpitations, renal failure acute, speech disorder. Glucobay dosage: 10 MG TOTAL DAILY. During the same period patient was treated with HORDEUM VULGARE, ANTACYANOSIDES, ADLAC, INDER, SENOKOT, HORDEUM VULGARE. Patient died on 11/01/2004.

Female patient, 92 years of age, was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus and was treated with Glucobay. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: feeling abnormal, hypoglycaemia. Glucobay dosage: 150 MG, TOTAL DAILY, ORAL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 60 years of age, weighting 132.3 lb, was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus and was treated with Glucobay. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: amnesia, apathy, blood pressure increased, depressed level of consciousness, diarrhoea, feeling abnormal, glycosylated haemoglobin increased, hypoglycaemic coma, influenza like illness. Glucobay dosage: 300 MG, TOTAL DAILY, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with GLIMEPIRIDE, PANIPENEM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
