Glivec side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on Oct 24, 2007. Female patient, 56 years of age, weighting 114.6 lb, was diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukaemia and was treated with Glivec. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: conjunctivitis, enanthema, erythema, erythema multiforme, feeling hot, headache What is  headache, neutropenia, oculomucocutaneous syndrome, pruritus. Glivec dosage: 300 MG/DAY. During the same period patient was treated with AMLODIPINE, MAGNESIUM OXIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Glivec side effect was reported by a Health Professional from GERMANY on June 11, 2008. Female patient was diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukaemia and was treated with Glivec. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, blood test abnormal, bone marrow failure, c-reactive protein increased, conjunctivitis, dermatitis exfoliative, haematocrit decreased, haemoglobin decreased, oedema peripheral. Glivec dosage: 400 MG DAILY. During the same period patient was treated with PANTOPRAZOLE, BISOPROLOL FUMARATE, DELIX PLUS, DECORTIN, TOREM, TRANSFUSIONS, VINCRISTINE. Patient recovered.
