Glipizide side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on July 16, 2008. Male patient, 71 years of age, was diagnosed with hepatitis c  and was treated with Glipizide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure systolic increased, confusional state, hypoglycaemia, rhonchi, unresponsive to stimuli, vascular access complication, wheezing. Glipizide dosage: 20 MG BID PO. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 77 years of age, weighting 135.0 lb, was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus non-insulin-dependent, bronchitis  and was treated with Glipizide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: confusional state, hypoglycaemia. Glipizide dosage: 20 MG PO DAILY. During the same period patient was treated with CLARITHROMYCIN. Patient died on 12/26/2004.

During the same period patient was treated with QUETIAPINE FUMARATE, HYDROXYZINE, AMITRIPTYLINE, LISINOPRIL AND HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, FLUNISOLIDE, NAPROXEN, CHLORPHENIRAMINE MALEATE, METHCARBAMOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Glipizide dosage: 5 MG BID PO [SEVERAL YEARS]. During the same period patient was treated with METFORMIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
