Glimepiride side effect was reported by a Health Professional from CANADA on May 05, 2006. Male patient, 65 years of age, was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus non-insulin-dependent and was treated with Glimepiride. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac failure, chest pain , pulmonary oedema, rales, respiratory failure, sleep apnoea syndrome. Glimepiride dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with METFORMIN, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, AVAPRO, BISOPROLOL, RAMAPRIL, MICRO, CATAPRES, FUROSEMIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
