Male patient, 61 years of age, weighting 304.7 lb, was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus and was treated with Glimepiride. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: chest discomfort. Glimepiride dosage: TITRATED DOSE BETWEEN 1 MG AND 6 MG ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with METFORMIN, SIMVASTATIN, FUROSEMIDE, AMLODIPINE, METOPROLOL, ACETYLSALICYLIC ACID SRT, SPIRONOLACTONE, BENDROFLUMETHIAZIDE. Patient was hospitalized.
