Male patient, 61 years of age, weighting 304.7 lb, was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus and was treated with Glimepiride. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac failure, chest discomfort, renal failure. Glimepiride dosage: TITRATED DOSE BETWEEN 1 MG AND 6 MG - ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with BENDROFLUMETHIAZIDE, METFORMIN, SIMVASTATIN, FUROSEMIDE, AMLODIPINE, METOPROLOL TARTRATE, ACETYLSALICYLIC ACID, SPIRONOLACTONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
