Female patient, 64 years of age, was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus non-insulin-dependent and was treated with Glimepiride. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute myocardial infarction, angioneurotic oedema, atelectasis, cardiomegaly, lung infiltration, scar . Glimepiride dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with METFORMIN HYDROCHLORIDE, TARKA, ZOCOR, METHOTREXATE, DILANTIN, FUROSEMIDE, IMDUR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
