Gliadel side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Mar 29, 2006. Male patient, 58 years of age, weighting 195.3 lb, was diagnosed with glioblastoma multiforme, convulsion and was treated with Gliadel. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anxiety , asthenia, convulsion, postictal state, visual acuity reduced. Gliadel dosage: 61.6 MG;X1;ICER. During the same period patient was treated with DILANTIN, DECADRON, VITAMIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, brain herniation, computerised tomogram abnormal, confusional state, haemorrhage, loss of consciousness, mydriasis, petit mal epilepsy. Gliadel dosage: 61.6 MG;X1. During the same period patient was treated with DEXAMETHASONE, PHENYTOIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 04/15/2006.
