Gentamicin side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Apr 14, 2006. Male patient, weighting 211.4 lb, was diagnosed with pyrexia, acute myeloid leukaemia recurrent and was treated with Gentamicin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatinine increased, pyrexia. Gentamicin dosage: 220 MG QD IV. During the same period patient was treated with GLEEVEC. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 74 years of age, weighting 150.3 lb, was diagnosed with klebsiella infection, neutropenia, sputum culture positive and was treated with Gentamicin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arthralgia, bone pain, hallucination, infusion related reaction, pyrexia. Gentamicin dosage: 300 MG Q24H IV. During the same period patient was treated with CASPOFUNGIN, FUROSEMIDE, PANTOPRAZOLE, PIPERACILLIN AND TAZOBACTAM, POTASSIUM CHLORIDE, ACYCLOVIR. Patient recovered.

Gentamicin side effect was reported by a Physician from on May 25, 2005. Male patient, 46 years of age, was diagnosed with aortic disorder, endocarditis  and was treated with Gentamicin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anxiety , brain abscess, confusional state, dialysis , emotional disorder, meningism, pyrexia, renal impairment. Gentamicin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with VANCOMYCIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
