Gentamicin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED KINGDOM on Mar 27, 2006. Female patient was diagnosed with escherichia infection and was treated with Gentamicin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dialysis , nephropathy toxic, neurotoxicity, renal failure chronic, vomiting. Gentamicin dosage: 60 MG; EVERY DAY; IM. During the same period patient was treated with NORFLOXACIN. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cellulitis , electrocardiogram qt prolonged, hypocalcaemia, hypokalaemia, hypomagnesaemia, metabolic alkalosis, muscular weakness, nephropathy toxic, paraesthesia. Gentamicin dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Gentamicin dosage: 80 MG TID IV. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Gentamicin dosage: 50 MG Q8 PR. During the same period patient was treated with CEFEPIME, DOCUSATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
