Gentamicin Side Effects Report #5463401-9
Gentamicin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED KINGDOM on Sept 11, 2007. Male patient, 53 years of age, was diagnosed with sepsis , analgesia and was treated with Gentamicin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: disorientation, metabolic acidosis, myocardial infarction. Gentamicin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with AUGMENTIN, LEVOFLOXACIN, METRONIDAZOLE, PARACETAMOL, VANCOMYCIN, DICLOFENAC, METOCLOPRAMIDE, OMEPRAZOLE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
