Male patient, 71 years of age, weighting 136.5 lb, was diagnosed with hypercholesterolaemia, hypertriglyceridaemia and was treated with Gemfibrozil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: myositis . Gemfibrozil dosage: 600MG BID PO. During the same period patient was treated with LOVASTATIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
