Gemfibrozil side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Dec 09, 2005. Male patient was diagnosed with hypertriglyceridaemia and was treated with Gemfibrozil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: myopathy. Gemfibrozil dosage: 600 MG TABLET DAILY PO. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood creatine phosphokinase increased, intervertebral disc displacement, liver disorder, muscular weakness, myalgia, myopathy, spinal column stenosis. Gemfibrozil dosage: 450 MG (450 MG, 1 IN 1 D), ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with SELIPRAN, ASPIRIN, CITALOPRAM, DIOVAN HCT, ATENOLOL, NEXIUM. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with SIMVASTATIN, AMLODIPINE, ATENOLOL, FUROSEMIDE, INSULIN, LISINOPRIL, OMEPRAZOLE, WARFARIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
