Gemfibrozil side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Jan 18, 2007. Male patient was diagnosed with hypertriglyceridaemia, atrial fibrillation  and was treated with Gemfibrozil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: epistaxis, gout , hypertriglyceridaemia, international normalised ratio increased. Gemfibrozil dosage: 600 MG BID PO. During the same period patient was treated with WARFARIN, ALLOPURINOL, COMBIVENT, FUROSEMIDE, GLIPIZIDE, LISINOPRIL, METHYLPREDNISOLONE, METOPROLOL SUCCINATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
