Gemfibrozil Side Effects Report #5737943-2
Gemfibrozil side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on May 12, 2008. Male patient, 67 years of age, weighting 218.3 lb, was diagnosed with hyperlipidaemia and was treated with Gemfibrozil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arthralgia, blood creatine phosphokinase increased, blood triglycerides increased, hepatic enzyme increased, muscular weakness, myalgia, renal failure acute. Gemfibrozil dosage: 600 MG BID PO. During the same period patient was treated with SIMVASTATIN. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.
