Gemfibrozil side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from on Jan 06, 2005. Male patient, 62 years of age, was diagnosed with hypertriglyceridaemia and was treated with Gemfibrozil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain upper, back pain , fatigue, haematuria, mood altered, pyrexia, stomach discomfort, urinary tract infection . Gemfibrozil dosage: 600MG PO BID. During the same period patient was treated with OMEPRAZOLE, LOVASTATIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with FELODIPINE, LORATADINE, METFORMIN, GUAFENESIN, NORTRIPTYLINE, TERAZOSIN, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, LISINOPRIL. Patient recovered.

Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
