Male patient, 41 years of age, weighting 223.0 lb, was diagnosed with rhabdomyolysis, neuroleptic malignant syndrome and was treated with Gemfibrozil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatine phosphokinase increased, dizziness , hypotension, renal failure acute. Gemfibrozil dosage: 600 MG PO BID. During the same period patient was treated with HALOPERIDOL, OLANZAPINE, BENZTROPINE MESYLATE, MODAFINIL, ATENOLOL, ENALAPRIL, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, AMLODIPINE. Patient was hospitalized.
