Male patient, 74 years of age, weighting 173.8 lb, was diagnosed with hypercholesterolaemia and was treated with Gemfibrozil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dialysis , fall , renal failure acute, rhabdomyolysis. Gemfibrozil dosage: 600MG BID PO. During the same period patient was treated with SIMVASTATIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
