Gefitinib side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED KINGDOM on July 20, 2005. Male patient, weighting 133.2 lb, was diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer, analgesic effect, depression , insomnia, pain , muscle spasms and was treated with Gefitinib. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, diarrhoea, disease progression, intestinal obstruction, liver function test abnormal, oral intake reduced, pain , renal failure, somnolence. Gefitinib dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with GABAPENTIN, ACETAMINOPHEN, CARBAMAZEPINE, VENLAFAXINE, CLONAZEPAM, HALOPERIDOL, BUSCOPAN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
