Gefitinib side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Jan 24, 2005. Female patient, 60 years of age, was diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer and was treated with Gefitinib. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, interstitial lung disease, lung infection, lymphangiosis carcinomatosa, malignant neoplasm progression, respiratory distress, respiratory failure. Gefitinib dosage: 250 MG DAILY. During the same period patient was treated with CARBOPLATIN, GEMCITABINE. Patient died.
