Male patient, 49 years of age, weighting 160.9 lb, was diagnosed with glioblastoma multiforme and was treated with Gefitinib. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: brain oedema, brain scan abnormal, convulsion, hemiparesis. Gefitinib dosage: 250 MG PO WEEKLY. During the same period patient was treated with RAD, KEPPRA, ADVIL, TETRACYCLINE, COLACE, BENADRYL, CALCITRIOL, CELEBREX. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute respiratory distress syndrome, asthenia, bedridden, clostridium colitis, grand mal convulsion, hemiparesis, malignant neoplasm progression, pneumonia aspiration, pulmonary embolism . Gefitinib dosage: 500 MG PO QD. During the same period patient was treated with RAPAMUNE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Patient recovered.
