Gefitinib side effect was reported by a Physician from IRELAND on Sept 29, 2004. Male patient, 65 years of age, weighting 187.4 lb, was diagnosed with prostate cancer , angina pectoris and was treated with Gefitinib. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dyspnoea, fall , fatigue. Gefitinib dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with DIFENE, ACETAMINOPHEN W, TAMSULOSIN, ATORVASTATIN, DOTHIEPIN HYDROCHLORIDE, ISOSORBIDE MONONITRATE, SALMETEROL. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: brain oedema, computerised tomogram abnormal, electroencephalogram abnormal, facial palsy, fatigue, grand mal convulsion, infarction, malignant neoplasm progression, nervous system disorder. Gefitinib dosage: 750 MG DAILY PO. During the same period patient was treated with RAPAMUNE, SYNTHROID, RITALIN, COREG, CALTRATE, TRICOR, DECADRON, RANITIDINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
