Gaviscon side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Apr 13, 2005. Female patient, 59 years of age, weighting 136.7 lb, was diagnosed with gastrooesophageal reflux disease, bipolar disorder  and was treated with Gaviscon. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: confusional state, convulsion, disorientation, feeling abnormal, respiratory arrest, sleep disorder . Gaviscon dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with LITHIUM, PROTONIX. Patient recovered.

Gaviscon dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with LITHIUM CARBONATE, PANTOPRAZOLE. Patient recovered.
