Gaviscon side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Feb 22, 2005. Male patient, 70 years of age, was diagnosed with hiatus hernia and was treated with Gaviscon. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: diarrhoea, diverticulum, haemorrhoids, rectal haemorrhage. Gaviscon dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ZANTAC, GLUCOPHAGE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
