Gatifloxacin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from on May 13, 2005. Male patient, 76 years of age, was diagnosed with urinary tract infection What is  urinary tract infection and was treated with Gatifloxacin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bacteraemia, cellulitis What is  cellulitis, diabetic ketoacidosis, hyperglycaemia, renal failure, scrotal disorder. Gatifloxacin dosage: 400MG PO QD. During the same period patient was treated with ACETAMINOPHEN AND CODEINE PHOSPHATE, ATENOLOL, BISACODYL, DOCUSATE, EMULSION TOP CRM, FELODIPINE, GLYBURIDE, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
