Male patient, 71 years of age, weighting 169.0 lb, was diagnosed with urinary tract infection , hyperlipidaemia and was treated with Gatifloxacin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: nephritis interstitial, renal failure acute. Gatifloxacin dosage: 200 MG Q DAY ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with GEMFIBROZIL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
