Gatifloxacin Side Effects Report #5015284-9
Gatifloxacin side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on May 19, 2006. Female patient, 73 years of age, was diagnosed with urinary tract infection , rheumatoid arthritis  and was treated with Gatifloxacin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cough, haemorrhage, malaise, platelet count decreased, pyrexia. Gatifloxacin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with MEROPEN, POLARAMINE, RIMATIL, PREDNISOLONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with FLIVAS, PRAVASTATIN, MARZULENE, ZYLORIC. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abnormal behaviour, asthenia, diarrhoea, frequent bowel movements, malaise. Gatifloxacin dosage: 400 MG DAILY INTRAVENOUS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
