Gatifloxacin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Oct 28, 2005. Male patient, 85 years of age, weighting 172.0 lb, was diagnosed with urinary tract infection What is  urinary tract infection and was treated with Gatifloxacin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aggression, anorexia, decreased interest, depressed level of consciousness, hypoglycaemia, moaning. Gatifloxacin dosage: 400 MG ONCE DAILY PO. During the same period patient was treated with QUININE SULPHATE, SIMVASTATIN, ROSIGLITAZONE, LISINOPRIL, PRESSURE PRECISION QID TEST STRIPS, GLIPIZIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
